Reston, VA – Qbase today announced that its Senior Vice President, Louis E. Grever, has been appointed as the Executive Director for the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies. ASCIA is a non-profit association whose members include the senior executives leading our state criminal investigative agencies all across the U.S. The association was formed in 1978 to represent the interests and equities of state-level investigative agencies on the national stage, to share best practices among our nation’s law enforcement leaders, and to facilitate effective communication among state investigative agencies.

“We could not be prouder of Louis for his willingness to support this important non-profit organization and for the way in which he brings his more than two decades of experience to the table for our clients every day,” Qbase CEO Joe Readyhough said. “I know ASCIA will be well-served under his knowledgeable and dedicated leadership.”

Mr. Grever served 24 years with the FBI and during that career, rose to the upper echelon of FBI leadership. Serving under FBI Director Robert Mueller, Mr. Grever was directly accountable for all FBI biometrics, forensics, and operational technology programs and investments. He executed an annual budget of more than $1.4B and his branch was staffed by more than 8,000 FBI agents, technologists, scientists, embedded contractors, and other specialists.

A recipient of the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal and a Presidential Meritorious Executive Rank award, Mr. Grever will contribute to the mission of ASCIA bringing organizational acumen, keen insight on current issues and challenges facing law enforcement, and a commitment to support of our nation’s law enforcement professionals.
