Reston, VA – Qbase, a leading provider of essential IT and applied technology services to U.S. Intelligence Community and National Security clients, has been awarded a contract to deliver embedded technical experts to the FBI in support of its enterprise IT security programs. Senior Qbase Information Assurance Engineers and Specialists staffed at FBI Headquarters will take charge of all antivirus and malicious code detection and mitigation across all FBI enclaves. Qbase technologists will also provide services to fully address data spill issues.

Information Assurance services provided by Qbase will protect all FBI networks that include enclaves secured at the Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) through the Top Secret – Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS//SCI) level. Data spill/cleansing services will be delivered for all FBI Headquarters divisions as well as to field divisions across the country.
Qbase, a prime contractor on the FBI’s IT Supplies and Support Services (IT SSS) vehicle, was awarded the contract under a ‘Best Value’ competition and will provide services to the FBI under a multi-year task order award.
